Rising Costs of Motherhood

It's been a few weeks since the New York Times published an article about the rising costs of motherhood, and I still honestly don't know what to think…or feel.

The article’s punchline? “Women got it so wrong, the researchers argue, because it has become harder to work and have children.” JESUS. 

A text chain with two girlfriends about it didn’t end with any firm conclusions but at least brought some levity to the whole debacle:
