Mom Guilt is Universal...just ask Serena Williams
Serena Williams is the cover story of Time Magazine this month - talking about life as a new mom and the day-to-day struggles of being in charge of a small person.
What I found really refreshing was just how honest she is about ALL her insecurities that come with motherhood - from the ongoing quest to carve out guilt-free "me-time" to feeling conflicted about ending breastfeeding and frustrated that she feels behind professionally coming back from maternity leave. This woman may have $86MM in career winnings, which affords way, way, way more assistance than most, but she is living the same "I don't know know I feel. And for that I thank her - cause it's reassuring to know that literally no one has it all figured out - not even absolute bad-ass lady bosses like Serena Williams.
Do yourself a favor and read her full interview - it's like a "Can I get an amen?!" booster shot to the arm.
